As we head into February, we’ve been making steady improvements to EnumclawEvents with one goal in mind: making it easier to discover what’s happening around town — and where to go when you’re not sure what you’re looking for yet.
This update focuses on exploration, usability, and better ways to find the things that matter most to you, whether that’s an event this weekend or a new place to eat.
A New Explore Page and Places to Eat
One of the biggest additions is the new Explore section, designed to go beyond a traditional event calendar. This area brings together food, venues, and local spots into one place so you can browse even when you don’t have a specific plan in mind.
Alongside this, we’ve added a dedicated Places to Eat section that highlights local restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and food trucks around Enumclaw and the plateau. This is a growing directory meant to help answer the simple question we all ask regularly: Where should we go?
You’ll continue to see this section expand over time as more places are added and refined.
Improved Search Capabilities
Finding events and places should be quick and intuitive. Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on improving search so it’s easier to surface relevant results without scrolling endlessly.
Search is now better at understanding what you’re looking for, whether that’s an event type, a venue, or a general keyword. This makes it easier to jump straight to what you need, especially as the calendar continues to grow.
What’s Coming Next
February’s updates are part of a larger effort to make EnumclawEvents more than just a list of events. The focus moving forward will continue to be on discovery, clarity, and supporting local venues and organizers in a way that feels natural and useful for the community.
If you notice something that could work better, or if there’s a feature you’d love to see, feedback is always welcome. This platform is evolving alongside the community it serves.
Thanks for being here — and for supporting local events, places, and people.
