Create a Coiled Wool Bowl or Coaster with Kathy Kemp

April 12, 2026

Time
From 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Event Description

Learn how to create beautiful, functional coiled wool bowls or coasters in this hands-on fiber arts workshop led by Kathy Kemp and hosted as part of Shepherds’ Extravaganza at the Enumclaw Expo.

This class is a great way to use up spare yardage of wool, handspun fibers, or yarn scraps while learning a simple and versatile coiling technique. Participants will be guided through the process of creating either a decorative bowl or a practical coaster that can be used to hold drinks, jewelry, keys, spare change, or gifted to someone special.

The finished pieces are both durable and visually striking, making this an approachable project for beginners and a satisfying creative session for experienced fiber artists.
