Welcome fall at Laughing Goat Botanical Gardens during a hands-on Tulip Planting Party on Saturday, October 18, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM. Learn the method the garden team uses to fill containers with tulip bulbs for a dramatic spring display. You’ll help plant the garden’s new liners and get a behind-the-scenes look at how large-scale planters are prepared, labeled, and tucked away for winter so they burst into color next season.
The liners you help plant will overwinter at Laughing Goat and be set into Italian terra-cotta planters for Spring 2026. Every participant takes home a bag of 10 mixed bulbs featuring varieties such as Slawa, Bastogne, and Black Hero. All supplies are provided, and the garden will have coffee and tea available during the class. Space is limited to 10 students, and tickets are required via SimpleTix.
