Event Description:
Join Shepherds’ Extravaganza at the Enumclaw Expo for a hands-on, half-day fiber workshop led by Amy Wolf. Spinning the Breeds is designed for both new and experienced spinners and fiber enthusiasts interested in learning how different sheep breeds influence fiber characteristics and end use.

Participants will explore eight different sheep breeds and their unique fibers, learning how each performs in spinning and fiber preparation. Bring a working spinning wheel or hand-processing tools if you have them, or simply come ready to learn. Attendees will leave with over a pound of washed fleece to take home. All breeds featured are raised by shepherds with more than twenty years of experience in breeding and showing.
