Soap Making

Event Description:
Join Not Your Basic Batch & Co for a one-and-a-half-hour class on Cold Process Soap Making. Learn from Kandi, owner of Green Apple Alpacas, who brings years of experience in making and teaching natural soap crafting. In this hands-on workshop, you will create a two-pound block of goat’s milk soap using a mold and all provided supplies. Choose from various scents to personalize your batch and take home a recipe to make more on your own.

Event Details:
You will receive your own soap mold, full supplies, and step-by-step instruction. Kandi will guide you through the cold process method, scent selection, mixing, pouring, and curing recommendations. Guests will leave with a full block of handcrafted goat’s milk soap ready to cure at home. Ages 12–112 welcome. No experience needed.

Good to Know:
Soap must cure before use.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a notebook if you’d like to take notes.
