Community Presentation: Our Five Shared Commitments

Event Description:

Enumclaw School District invites families and community members to a special presentation, “Our Five Shared Commitments: Preparing Students for the Future Together.”

How do we keep students engaged in learning? How do we prepare students for life, not only for standardized tests? What would we measure if we were looking for impact beyond test scores? How are we bringing our Theory of Action and Mission to life?

District leaders will share how ESD is:

• Responding to national trends in student engagement
• Focusing on what matters most for students beyond standardized test scores
• Monitoring key commitments tied to leading indicators and research in the areas of student well-being, literacy proficiency, algebraic reasoning, on-track-for-graduation measures, and graduates who leave with a clear plan and pathway
• Seeing results with three-year trend data rising faster than the state average in both English Language Arts and Math

All parents, caregivers, and community members are encouraged to attend.
