Join us for an afternoon of cozy creativity at the Candle Making Workshop hosted by Not Your Basic Batch & Co and Elizabeth Regan. This hands-on class covers safe candle-making techniques, fragrance selection, and finishing touches so you can take home a beautiful, clean-burning candle.
We’ll use a paraffin/soy wax blend formulated for great scent throw, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and wooden wicks for a warm, crackling finish. You’ll choose your vessel and scent, learn proper melting and pouring techniques, and get tips on wicking and curing so your candle performs its best.
Important: Your candle(s) will need about 1 hour to cure before they’re travel-safe — plenty of time to stroll downtown Enumclaw for a snack while your candle finishes. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early.
Who it’s for: Beginners and experienced makers welcome.
Age: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
What’s provided: Wax, vessels, wooden wicks, phthalate-free scents, tools, and instruction.
Bring (optional): A small tote to carry finished items; dress for light mess.
