Blue Christmas Luminary Prayer Walk

Event Description:
“Blue Christmas” refers to a feeling of grief, sadness, or loneliness during the holidays. Held on the winter solstice—the longest night of the year—this luminary prayer walk provides a meaningful space for people to find comfort, honor grief, remember loss, and hold onto hope. All are welcome.
Participants will gather on the east side of the church under the covered walkway outside the main doors. The walk will include both outdoor and indoor stations, each offering opportunities for guided reflection, quiet prayer, and personal stillness.
This event is held in collaboration with Trinity Lutheran Church and is open to the entire community.
